The actual process itself can take anywhere from 3 to 6 months, so it is advisable to plan ahead.
The first step it to send us a copy of your CV. From this we will be able to assess your qualifications and experience and advise you on whether or not you meet the criteria necessary for you to gain registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
There are many different pathways for registration and it can be very confusing however NZMedics will talk you through the process and ensure that your application is submitted and processed.
Once we have confirmed that you do meet Medical Council policy, we will then source that job for you, based on your criteria. We will contact hospitals or general practices on your behalf and discuss possible work opportunities with you until such time as you have a confirmed placement.
We then submit your application for registration and manage the entire process on your behalf.
